Southwest Decatur is home to the beautiful Jack Allen Recreation Complex. As you top the hill on the main entrance off Modaus Road SW, you will see 10 international size soccer fields situated on 77 acres of manicured turf.

Jimmy Johns Tennis Center

The Jimmy Johns Tennis Center is located behind T.C. Almon Recreation Center in Point Mallard Park. It is owned and operated by Decatur Parks and Recreation Department. The newly re-modeled complex features 16 championship hard courts, 4 championship clay courts, and two indoor hard courts.

Ingalls Harbor

The new Ingalls Harbor features spacious launch ramps (up to 10 boats at a time!), 1,088-linear-foot dock, lighted parking and ramps, and 158 paved truck/trailer parking spaces. A new events pavilion seats up to 1,200.

Spirit of America Fields

Ronald Reagan Spirit of America Stage and Fields with lights for soccer and special events. Electrical outlets along both sides of field, security lights near woods, water fountain near restrooms in field and 1 near stage. Open-air stage has restrooms and dressing room.

Aquadome

The Aquadome Recreation Center provides many recreational opportunities for children, teens and adults. Adults may begin their weeks with a morning fitness class or a workout in the wellness room.

T.C. Almon Recreation Center

T. C. Almon Recreation Center is uniquely located in the heart of Point Mallard across from the J. Gilmer Blackburn Aquatic Center. T. C. Almon Recreation Center has a variety of programs and activities for seniors, adults, teens and children.

Point Mallard Ice Complex

The Point Mallard open air Ice Rink was opened in 1973 but could only be used in the winter. Today, guests can enjoy ice skating all year long in the enclosed Point Mallard Ice Complex. Complete with shower facilities, party rooms, meeting rooms, full concessions, pro-shop and wireless sound system, the rink offers fun for all ages.
