Disc Golf is a growing sport in which the object of the game is to traverse a course from beginning to end in the fewest number of throws of the disc. There are two courses located in Decatur, the Flying Dragon Disc Golf Course at Jack Allen Recreation Complex and The Outback at Central Park Baptist Church. Hartselle also has two courses, Lakeside and Parkside, which are both located in Sparkman Park. If you’re in the Somerville area, be sure to stop at the Patriot Hills Disc Golf Course. Check out our brand new North Alabama Disc Golf Brochure created by Emily Asherbranner, Decatur Morgan County Tourism intern.
