Enjoy a relaxing day at one of four 18-hole golf courses in the Decatur-Morgan County area. The courses range from the award-winning Point Mallard Golf Course, named one of the best public golf courses in Alabama, to the resort-like setting of the Quail Creek Golf Course.

Point Mallard Golf Course

Point Mallard Golf Course encompasses 18-holes spread across 200 acres of wooded flatlands in Point Mallard Park. The award-winning championship course was designed to follow the contour of the land, utilizing existing trees, small streams and ponds. Point Mallard’s Bermuda grass course has a U.S. Golf Association rating of 73.7 (based on a par of 72) and a slope rating of 125 (150 being the most difficult). The natural stone clubhouse contains a fully-equipped Pro Shop and golf lessons are available.

Quail Creek

Located in Hartselle, Quail Creek Golf Course stretches over 500 acres of manicured greens and fresh water ponds. In addition to the 18-hole, par 71 course, Quail Creek also offers practice putting greens, chipping area and a Pro Shop.
